O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent no. 1 to identify De-sealing Letter bearing No. 160/BLDGII/SZ/2023 dated 17th April, 2023 and consequently direct the respondent no. 2 to install the electricity connection in the property of petitioner, situated at Plot No. 7, Khasra No. 96, Village Satbari, Delhi-110030. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that respondent no. 2 had not installed the electricity connection/meter at the premises of the petitioner due to the reason that the subject premises is sealed by respondent no. 1. However, the subject premises have already been de-sealed vide order th April, 2023, passed by respondent no. 1. Thus, the present writ dated 17 petition has been filed.

Issue notice. Notice is accepted by learned counsels appearing for the respondents.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 1, on instructions, submits that the property of the petitioner has already been de-sealed. 5.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 2 submits that if that be the case, respondent no. 2 would have no objection in granting electricity connection to the petitioner. However, the petitioner may file a fresh application in this regard, with the respondent no. 2 and accordingly, the electricity connection shall be duly provided to the petitioner, subject to compliance of all the codal formalities.

Having heard learned counsels for the parties and considering the submissions made before this Court, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh application with the respondent no. 2.

Let the needful be done by the petitioner, within a period of one week, from today.

Upon the petitioner fulfilling all the codal compliances, including, deposit of any amount or any documents as may be required by respondent no. 2, the respondent no. 2 shall proceed to process the application of the petitioner and grant the electricity connection to the petitioner. 9.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition, along with the pending application, stands disposed of.
