% 26.02.2018 Respondent no. 2 Ms. Pooja is present in Court and has been identified by Shankar Lal of police station Begumpur. It is submitted that petitioner (husband) and respondent no. 2 (wife) have started living together after resolving their differences.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before Delhi Mediation Centre, Rohini District Courts, Delhi on 3rd November, 2015 and is living with him since then. Respondent no. 2 further submits that one child is also born from the wedlock on 2nd December, 2017 and she has no grievance against the petitioner. Respondent no. 2 says that she has no objection in case FIR is

quashed.

Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice FIR No.1316/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Begum Pur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
