This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.230/2024 PS Harsh Vihar under Sections 504/506/509 IPC. Counsel for the petitioner contends that the allegations made in the FIR at the behest of the complainant Babita Sharma who alleges that on her mobile No.9999630910 abusive messages have been sent by the petitioner which have been extracted out in the FIR.

She states that earlier on he had also tried to intimidate through WhatsApp call and messages, although no specific date or detail has been given relating to previous messages. Counsel for the petitioner states that the phone might have been in the name of the complainant but was being consistently utilized by Rajesh Sharma who was husband of the complainant. wife Anu Gupta and Rajesh Sharma relating to allegations of financial misconduct by Rajesh Sharma. He states that the FIR has been registered at the behest of the relative of the complainant who is in the Delhi Police to somehow put counter-pressure on the petitioner and his wife. 3.

These are aspects which the petitioner can take up post the investigation at the stage of framing of charge, if at all the charge-sheet is filed in the matter.

Liberty for the same is given to the petitioner. 5.

In these circumstances, counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the petition at this stage.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Liberty granted. 7.
