On the last date of hearing, the counsel for the respondent submitted that the respondent has since expired, and the death certificate of the respondent was placed on record.

Learned APP for the State has handed over the Death Verification Report, which is taken on record. As per the Verification Report, respondent's death has been verified, and his death certificate is also found to be genuine and correct.

In view of the above, the present appeal stands abated. 4.

A copy of this order be communicated to the Trial Court as well as Jail Superintendent.
