The Petitioner had filed an application under Rule 22(3) of Delhi Welfare and Maintenance of the Parents and Senior Citizen Rules, 2009 before the District Magistrate (West), seeking eviction of their son and daughter-in-law. The Petitioner's grievance is that the said application has not been adjudicated till date, constraining him to file the instant petition. 2.

Mr. Avishkar Singhvi, Counsel for Respondents, states that the matter is next listed for hearing on 9th December, 2024, and endeavour shall be made to dispose of the Petitioner's application within two months from the conclusion of the upcoming scheduled hearing. 3.

It is understood that the Respondents shall adhere to the statement made by the Counsel and the timelines specified thereof. 4.
