1. The petitioner, who is serving in the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has approached this Court with a grievance that he has till date not been supplied a copy of the General Force Court(GFC), which was held against him in December, 2022. He, therefore, seeks a direction to the respondents to provide him a copy of the GFC proceedings so as to enable him to avail of appropriate remedies against the findings and sentence thereof.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, submits that a copy of the GFC proceedings have already been forwarded to the petitioner's unit for being handed over to him. He submits that the same could, however, not be given to the petitioner as he is presently posted at a Border Out Post (BOP).

evident that the GFC proceedings have till date not been supplied to the petitioner. We are, therefore, of the view that it will be in the interest of justice to direct the respondents to supply a copy of the GFC to the petitioner's counsel.

4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the respondents to furnish a copy of the GFC proceedings to the learned counsel for the petitioner within a period of four weeks.
