% 24.01.2018 Respondent nos. 2, 3 and 6 to 8 are complainants whereas petitioner and respondent nos. 4 and 5 are accused in the FIR No. 1156/2014 under Sections 420/34 IPC registered at Police Station Janak Puri. It is submitted that the petitioner and the complainants, that is, petitioner and respondent nos.2 and 3 and 6 to 8 have settled their disputes, therefore, aforesaid FIR, which is at the investigation stage, may be quashed. Counsel for the respondent nos. 2, 3 says that these respondents have already received the settled amount, which fact is corroborated from the bail order.

As regards respondent nos.6 to 8 are concerned, petitioner has handed over three cheques drawn in the names of

respondent nos. 6 to 8 to the learned counsel, which have been accepted, subject to their realization. Photocopies of the cheques have been placed on record. Learned counsel for the Respondent nos.2, 3 and 6 to 8 says that these respondents have no objection if FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind that the settlement arrived at between the concerned parties voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 1156/2014 under Sections 420/34 IPC registered at Police Station Janak Puri, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed, subject to realization of the aforesaid cheques. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
