This is a petition filed under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 3 months.

The matter is listed for pronouncement of the Award, but due to some personal exigencies of the Arbitrator, the same could not be done. 3.
Issue notice. Mr. Ghosh, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 4.
I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown. 5.
For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 3 months from today for making and publishing the Arbitral Award.

The period till today stands regularized.
