The petitioners are invoking the writ jurisdiction of this Court seeking direction against the DDA to register the petitioners‟ properties in terms of the PM UDAY Yojana and for appropriate reliefs and directions.

Learned counsel for the respondent/DDA is present on advance notice. It appears that the application moved by the petitioners for registration of the properties under the aforesaid scheme has been rejected by DDA vide order dated 06.02.2024, and an appeal has already been preferred by the petitioner, however, the said appeal is yet to see the light of the day.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the appropriate directions have been given for affording an opportunity, if need be, to the petitioner and for passing an appropriate direction. consented, the petitioners, in person or through their authorised representatives, shall appear before the Deputy Director, PM UDAY Cell on 03.10.2024 at 2.00 p.m. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with direction that the present writ petition be considered as a fresh representation by the petitioner and after affording an opportunity of hearing, a reasoned order may be passed within six weeks from today.
