This is a petition filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months for making and publishing the award. 2.

It is stated that the delay occurred on account of the change of the arbitrator and the delay attributable to the respondent. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Ms. Singh, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed and states that the delay is solely attributable to the petitioner.

However, in view of the no objection on behalf of the respondent to the present petition, I am inclined to allow the petition. 6.

As last and final opportunity, 6 months are granted to the learned arbitrator to make and publish the award.

The period from 31.05.2025 till today stands regularized. 8.
