This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 read with Section 151 CPC seeking extension of the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator by a period of 1 year. 2.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in view of the change of Arbitrator, there has been a delay. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Goel, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.
