This is a petition filed under section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of one month to make and publish the final Award.

It is stated that the arguments have been reserved and only the pronouncement of the final Award is awaited.

For the said reasons, issue notice to the respondent. 4.

Mr Sharma, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. For the reasons noted above, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of two months from today. 6.

The period from 25.08.2025 till today stands regularized. 7.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
