% 18.05.2016 W.P.(C) 1783/2015 & CM No.61/2016(recall of order dated 09.12.2015) The status report submitted on behalf of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation dated 18.05.2016 is taken on record. It appears that the Appellate Tribunal, MCD has directed that an opportunity be provided to the owner of property No.480, Chirag Delhi, New Delhi, to reply to the show-cause notices and the Assistant Engineer (Building), South Zone is required to, thereafter, pass a speaking order and deal with all the submissions based on the pleas and defences.

The learned counsel for the South Delhi Municipal Corporation states that the said Assistant Engineer (Building) has heard the owner of the said property and his orders are awaited. The authority will proceed in accordance with law thereafter. No further directions are necessary in this writ petition. The same stands disposed of.
