O R D E R

% 03.10.2024 1.

The present petition under Section 29A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred as the A&C Act) seeks extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making the arbitral award.

The arbitration proceedings commenced pursuant to the order dated 12.07.2022 passed in ARB.P. No. 700/2022. The said order, inter alia, states as under:- "2. Having regard to the above, the petition is disposed of by terminating the mandate of the learned arbitrator appointed by the respondent vide a letter dated 12.05.2022, and appointing Mr. Anuj Aggarwal, Advocate [Mobile No.- 9891363718] as the sole arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties under the Agreements." 3.

It is averred in the petition that the arbitration proceedings are at the stage of final arguments.

Learned counsel, as aforesaid, enters appearance and accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. He does not oppose the relief sought in the present petition.

Having considered the averments made in the petition and having heard respective counsel for the parties, there is no impediment in allowing the present petition 7.

Accordingly, the present petition is allowed. The time for completion of arbitration proceedings and making of the arbitral award is extended by a period of three months from today.

The present petition stands disposed of.
