This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ["the Act"], seeking extension of the mandate of an arbitral tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a Concession Agreement dated 29.02.2012. 2.

Mr. Arjun Syal, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought. He points out that a petition under Section 34 of the Act [OMP (COMM) 290/2024], challenging an order dated 30.03.2024, by which the arbitral tribunal declined the respondent's request for amendment of the statement of claim, is pending before this Court. This order is passed without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties in the said petition.
