This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.306/2019 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC PS Govind Puri basis settlement dated 27th March, 2023 arrived at with the facilitation of the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, which is on record of this Court.

The final outstanding balance of Rs.40,000/- has been paid to respondent No.2, who is present in Court, who acknowledges the receipt of the same. She has no objection to the quashing of the FIR. The petitioner No.1 is present in Court, whereas petitioner Nos.2-5 are present through VC and duly identified by the IO.

The marriage of petitioner No.1 and respondent No.2 has culminated in a divorce dated 11th October, 2023. No child was born out of wedlock. 4.

of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.306/2019 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC PS Govind Puri and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
