% 05.04.2019 CM APPL No.5572/2019 The respondent herein had filed a suit for recovery of Rs.6,24,000/- against the defendant Director General of Doordarshan. The said suit was decreed vide a decree/judgment dated 27.07.2005 for a sum of Rs.4,48,500/-with proportionate cost and future interest @ 6% p.a. from the date of the said suit till realisation. The present appeal was filed but was dismissed for nonprosecution and thereafter the decretal amount pursuant to the order dated 18.11.2005 is lying deposited with this Court and is liable to be released alongwith the interest and as instructed the learned counsel for the appellant has no objection to the same. The said amount be released in favour of the respondent forthwith. It is stated by the learned senior counsel for the respondent

upon release of the decretal amount with accrued interest the respondent shall be left with no claim against the applicant herein. In the circumstances the application stands disposed of. YOGESH KHANNA, J.
