% 08.03.2018 It is submitted that petitioner is nephew of respondent no. 2. quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to registration of the FIR No. 44/2015 under Sections 354/506 IPC at Police Station Kirti Nagar on the complaint of respondent no. 2. With the interventions of elders in the family, respondent no. 2 and petitioner have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no.2 Ms.
Pooja is present in Court and has been identified by SI Benay Singh of police station Kirti Nagar. Respondent no. 2 says that she has settled the
matter with petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 has been filed along with the petition.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.
Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 44/2015 under Sections 354/506 IPC registered at Police Station Kirti Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
