% 23.02.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for quashing of order dated 24.06.2017 passed by respondent no.1 and the decision taken by respondent no.2 in its 249th meeting held on 01-10.02.2016 whereby petitioner's application for grant of recognition for conducting B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed is rejected. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's application has been rejected on the ground that the NOC from the affiliating University was submitted to the respondents after the cut-off dated as prescribed under the regulations. Learned counsel further submits that the said rejection was illegal as the respondents ought to have consider the NOC provided by the petitioner atleast at the appellate stage.

He relies on a decision passed by this Court in Rambha College Of Education v. National Council For Teacher Education And Anr bearing W.P.(C) 3231/2016, which has now attained finality as the respondents SLP against the said order has already been dismissed. Learned counsel for the respondents does not dispute the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed and the order dated 24.06.2017 passed by respondent no.1 is hereby quashed and the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 29.06.2015 for B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed for the academic year 2018-19 preferably before 03.03.2018, which is the cut off date prescribed in the regulations, for grant of recognition for the academic year 201819.
