This petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail in FIR no. 380/2024, registered at PS IGI Airport, New Delhi under Sections 419/420/120-B IPC.

The case of the prosecution is that one Manpreet Singh resident of Hoshiarpur Punjab arrived from UAE to IGI Airport New Delhi on 02nd June, 2024.

During immigration clearance, it was found that his last departure could not be confirmed through the system. It is therefore, suspected that he had cheated the Indian immigration and travelled on someone else's documents.

During investigation, he disclosed that the journey had been arranged by one agent named Amrit Pal Singh alias Rinku in lieu of Rs. 75,000/- The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
Accused Rinku in turn revealed that accused Mehul Gupta had provided the travel documents.

As per the prosecution, Mehul Gupta, had contacted the petitioner for the ticket; the petitioner arranged the tickets for Manpreet Singh for Rs. 12,000/-. The petitioner stated that it was arranged by the ticket agent. 6.
Petitioner states that records of Air India are available where it shows that Manpreet Singh had travelled with Air India on 12th January, 2022 from Delhi to Dubai via Jaipur, which has been appended as annexure A-4 to the petition.

This Court had issued notice on 23rd September, 2024 and directions for interim protection of the petitioner.

It is stated by the APP for the State that the petitioner has been summoned twice and has joined the investigation; he has provided the copies of the tickets which he arranged for Manpreet Singh, previously in 2022. He has not provided his documents relating to his visa. 9.
Counsel for the petitioner states that he was just a ticketing agent and he has no idea about the visa documents of Manpreet Singh, which may have been arranged through Mehul Gupta. As per their submission, he was only performing the ticketing for Mehul Gupta.

APP states that the requisition has been sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs for verification of the earlier travel documents of the Manpreet Singh. 11.
In these circumstances, the investigation can continue and petitioner will duly join the investigation as and when summoned by the IO and provide all documents which are being requisitioned.

In light of the above, the Court is of the considered opinion that the petitioner is entitled to anticipatory bail. Consequently, in the event of arrest The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25, 000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/IO/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will join investigation as and when directed and not influence any witness/complainant/victim or tamper with evidence of the case. 13.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
