% 23.09.2024 By way of the present bail petition filed under section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, the petitioner seeks extension of interim bail granted vide order dated 12.08.2024 made in BAIL APPLN. No. 2191/2024 by 03 months.

In light of the view taken by this court in certain other matters, the present fresh substantive bail petition seeking extension of interim bail granted in a different bail petition, is not maintainable. Upon being queried, Mr. R. A. Worso Zimik, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that the interim bail granted vide order dated 12.08.2024 expires on 28.09.2024.

In the circumstances, Mr. Zimik seeks leave to withdraw the present bail petition, with liberty to file a CRL.M.(BAIL) in BAIL APPLN. No. 2191/2024 seeking the same relief.
