% 03.02.2020 1.
The present petition is directed against the order dated 16.01.2018 whereby the trial court, while noting that repeated issuance of NBWs were not enough to procure the presence of the accused as he was deliberately concealing himself, ordered for issuance of process under Section 82 Cr.P.C. against the petitioner.
2.
On the last date of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would continue to appear before the trial court on all dates and in case of default, appropriate orders may be passed by this Court.
3.
Today, no one has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. It is informed that the petitioner has also not been appearing before the trial court. Learned APP for the State has handed over a copy of the order dated 01.02.2020 wherein the absence of the petitioner has been noted.
4.
In view of the continuous default on the part of the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Miscellaneous application is disposed as infructuous.
