% 23.02.2018 Petitioner is not present in spite of directions. The prayer made in the petition has been perused. Petitioner is seeking a direction qua her parents directing them not to interfere with her life and allow her to lead it peacefully. She is stated to be a major. Further averments disclose that the petitioner has left her parent's home sometime in February, 2018. She wishes to reside separately to complete her studies. Today this Court has been informed that the petitioner has since returned back to her parent's home. This was on 21.02.2018. The fact that she has been returned to her parent's home finds mention in the status report filed by the State. Learned counsel for the State under instructions from the Investigating Officer points out that the statement of the girl has been recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C.
This petition is no longer maintainable.
Dismissed.
