O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 26/2018 This petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed seeking extension of time for making of the Award by the Sole Arbitrator.

The learned counsel for the respondent appears on advance notice and submits that he has no objection to the grant of the prayer made in the present petition.

Having perused the contents of the present petition and also taking into account the no objection expressed by the respondent, the time for making of the Award is extended by a further period of three months w.e.f. 01.03.2018.

The petition is allowed in the above terms, with no order as to costs.
