This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR no. 0943/2021 registered at PS Burari, Delhi under Section 420 IPC basis settlement arrived at between the parties, dated 30th May, 2024, which is on record of this Court. 2.

As per the settlement, final balance of Rs. 11,50,000/- is being paid today vide DD no. 557460. The same has been handed over to respondent no.2 who has duly received it in Court and acknowledges the same. 3.

and are duly identified by IO and the respective counsel. 4.

Further, as per the settlement, that an NOC was to be furnished by respondent no.2 to the petitioner as per para 7 of the said settlement, which has been tendered vide an affidavit dated 23rd September, 2024, which is also duly received by the petitioner and acknowledged. 5.

The said affidavit be placed on record by counsel for respondent no.2. 6.

Respondent no no.2 has no objection to the quashing of the FIR. 7.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 0943/2021 under Section 420 IPC registered at PS Burari, Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 9.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
