% 13.09.2025 Appellant insurance company has filed an appeal for reduction of the award finally modified vide dated 20.1.2014 passed by the Learned MACT, awarding a compensation of Rs. 18,28,000/- along with interest @ 7.5% p.a. from the date of filing of claim petition. On appeal, the insurance company was directed to deposit entire awarded amount with up to date interest before the Registrar General of this Hon'ble High Court in terms of the order dated 17.04.2014 passed by this Hon'ble Court and 80% of the awarded amount was directed to be released.

We have interaction with the Ld. Counsel for the appellant and it is submitted by the Learned Counsel for appellant that he has instructions to withdraw the present appeal.

In view of the settlement, deposited amount if not released be directed to be released to the Respondent(s)/Claimant(s) in term of the award of the tribunal. In terms of the aforesaid, the present appeal along with pending application (s) stand disposed of with directions in terms of the settlement.
