By this petition, petitioner seeks parole for maintaining social ties as also challenges the communication dated 31st January, 2018 rejecting the application of the petitioner seeking parole on the grounds mentioned above. 2.
The application of the petitioner was rejected by the Competent Authority on the ground that the conduct of the petitioner in jail was unsatisfactory for the reasons he was awarded punishment on 29th April, 2017 and 1st May, 2017.

A status report has been filed verifying the fact that the elder sister of the petitioner is residing at A-12, 1st Floor, Mazar Wali Gali, Pul Prahaldpur, Delhi-44. Further the petitioner has three real brothers who are married and live with their families. The parents of the petitioner having died and W.P.(CRL) 606/2018
ancestral property situated at New Seelampur had already been sold. 4.
A perusal of the nominal roll reveals that the petitioner has been granted regular paroles and furloughs in the years 2014, 2015 and 2016. There is no allegation that the petitioner misused the said concessions. 5.
Considering the facts verified, the nominal roll and also the fact that the last punishment of the petitioner was on 1st May, 2017 and one year has already elapsed therefrom, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court further subject to the condition that the surety would be a family member of the petitioner.

Petition is disposed of.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
