The petitioner who claims that decentralization of the departments of Central Government is essential to ensure decongestion in the city of Delhi, filed this petition by way of public interest litigation with the following prayer:- "issue appropriate writ order or directions in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to decentralize to limit the total work force in every department of Central Government and Ministry and no transfer in and only transfer out of the people unless approved by the top most level in concerned ministry and also direct them to reduce by delegation and relocation to regional headquarter by at least 75% of manpower and works in all the ministries in the next one year."

We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The issue sought to be raised being a policy matter, we do not think that the interference by this Court is warranted for any of the reasons stated in the petition. Hence, we are not inclined to entertain the writ petition. 3.

Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
