This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months.

It is stated that the record is voluminous and hence, the delay. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Samdarshi, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months from today. 7.

The period from 12.02.2025 till today stands regularised. 8.

The petition is disposed of.
