The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents no.1 and 2 to stop and demolish the illegal and unauthorized construction, including any temporary structure, being raised in the property bearing no. 5A/27, Gali No. 5, Ansari Road, Darya Ganj, Delhi-110002 (hereinafter 'subject property').

A short affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent no.1/ MCD wherein it is stated that a notice dated 21st August, 2025 was issued to the owners/ builders of the subject property calling upon them to demolish the dangerous structure. Since the owner/ builders failed to comply with the W.P.(C) 13519/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. said notice, a special demolition action was carried out between 25th August, 2025 to 28th August, 2025 with the assistance of Delhi Police. 3.
It is further stated in the said affidavit that demolition work was being carried out ensuring that no damage is caused to the adjoining premises including the petitioner's ashram/ premises. A barricade has also been erected for the safety of the petitioner's ashram/ premises. 4.
In view thereof, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. 5.
Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. 6.
