This present petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is stated to have been expired on 25th July, 2025.

Counsel appears on behalf of the respondent on advance notice and supports the case of the petitioner.

It is submitted by counsel for the parties that the judgement in the Award has been reserved. However, it would take some time in delivering the Award as the records of the arbitration are voluminous. 5.

Having heard counsel for the parties, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of six (6) months from today. 6.
