It is being informed by the learned ASC for the State that as on date, there is no FIR against the petitioner and that this is just a preliminary enquiry. He further submits that if an FIR is registered in the future, a fresh notice to join investigation shall be issued. 2.

In consideration of these submissions, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition and reserves his right to avail his remedies in accordance with the law at an appropriate stage. 3.
