1. This is a petition filed under section 29A (4) and (5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for adjudication of disputes between the parties.
2. It is stated that the arguments have been heard and some clarificatory issues are pending.
3. On the last date of hearing, notice was issued.
4. Mr. Kumar, learned counsel appears and states that he does not admit any of the averments made in the present petition and without prejudice to the same, he has no objection if the mandate is extended.
5. For the said reasons, I am of the view that the sufficient cause has been shown. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 9 months from today to make and publish the award.
6. The period from 31.08.2024 till today is regularised.
7. The petition is disposed of.
