The present petition under Section 29A(5) read with Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the A&C Act) has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for completion of ongoing arbitral proceedings between the petitioner and the respondent.

The learned Sole Arbitrator was appointed by this Court vide order dated 07.02.2022 passed in ARB.P. No. 54/2022. 3.

Respective counsel for the parties jointly submit that the Arbitrator has been proceeding with the matter with expedition and dispatch, however, due to voluminous nature of the matter, further time is required to complete the arbitral proceedings and to make the arbitral award. 4.
