Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners raises a solitary grievance that during the pendency of the proceedings before the Appellate Tribunal - Municipal Corporation of Delhi (AT-MCD), the respondents have taken precipitative steps for demolition. He, therefore, submits that till his application for interim relief is not considered by the AT-MCD, the action of demolition be stayed.

Having considered the aforesaid submissions and in view of the facts and circumstances involved in the instant writ petition, the Court finds it appropriate to direct the respondent-MCD to stay its hands for a period of seven days to enable the petitioner to take appropriate steps before the ATThe authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
