protection to his life and personal liberty. It is alleged that on 27.08.2025, a minor quarrel ensued between the petitioner and Respondent No. 6 in relation to closing of the entrance door. It is alleged that amidst the said quarrel, Respondent No. 6 slapped the petitioner's daughter and Respondent Nos. 4-6 thereafter created a fabricated video of the said incident and linked it to the dog-feeding issues. It is alleged that on 28.08.2025, Respondent No. 7 uploaded and circulated the said video on Instagram which contained the petitioner's personal details including his name, address and family particulars.

The learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has since been receiving threatening calls and messages, and is facing serious threats to his life and personal liberty.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite the complaint being given in this regard to the Police, no action has been taken.

At the outset, the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the petitioner would be provided the phone number of the Beat Officer, and that he would be at liberty to call the concerned officer in case he feels any immediate threat to his life and liberty.

He submits that as and when any such complaint is received, prompt action will be taken. He submits that the Beat Officer would also be sensitised in that regard. He further submits that the complaint was given by the petitioner only a couple of days back and the same will be looked into in accordance with law.

Considering the above, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.

Needless to say, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court in case any grievance remains in the future. 8.
It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the veracity of the allegations or accepted the allegations as being truthful. The matter would be looked into by the Police and any action, if required, will be taken in accordance with law. 9.
