This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking the following reliefs against the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare and the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB): "(i) Issue appropriate Writ quashing and setting aside the result of screening process declared by ASRB (Respondent No.2) in furtherance of ASRB vacancy notification 03/2023, dated 07.08.2023. (ii) Order staying of the recruitment/appointment issuing process for the Senior Scientist (Aquaculture) positions at ICAR-CMFRI (Parent Institution) Mandapam Regional Centre and Vizjinjam Regional Centre in the ASRB vacancy notification 03/2023, dated 07.08.2023until the screening process is reviewed and subsequently recruitment decisions are finalized judiciously as per the directions of the Hon'ble Court. (iii) Issue a Writ of appropriate nature directing RespondentNo.2 to reevaluate the screening process and the candidates' applications through a transparent, impartial, and non-ICAR committee with a comparative screening of all applied applicants against each position as per the pre-set score card and existing set benchmark for screen-in." 4.

In view of Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 and judgment of the Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court in L. Chandra Kumar v. Union of India and Others, (1997) 3 SCC 261, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal. 5.
