None appears for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.1 submits that the petitioner has already availed the statutory prescribed appellate remedy as prescribed under Section 22 (3) (4) of Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the respondent/s that the appeal preferred by the petitioner came up for hearing on 21.02.2025 and the same is under active consideration of the concerned Appellate Authority. It is noticed from order dated 25.09.2024 that this Court entertained the present petition since at that the relevant time, the Appellate Authority was not functional. However, considering that the Appellate Authority is now functional and the appellate remedy has also been availed by the petitioner, this Court does not finds it apposite to keep the present petition pending. Appellate forum.

The interim order dated 25.09.2024 shall continue to operate till the matter is considered by the Appellate Authority. It shall be for the Appellate Authority to consider whether the same is to be continued or not. 5.

The Appellate Authority (the concerned Divisional Commissioner) is requested to decide the matter as expeditiously as possible. 6.
