By way of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner assails a notice dated 29.08.2024 by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ["MCD"] under Section 349 of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957, directing the petitioners to vacate the premises occupied by them [RZ-F2/175, Gali No.5, Mahavir Enclave, Manglapuri, New Delhi], to enable the property to be demolished/sealed. 2.
Dr. Amit George, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the petitioners have not received any demolition or sealing orders and have, therefore, not been able to take legal remedies against the said orders. Mr. Ashutosh Gupta, learned counsel, appearing for MCD, disputes the aforesaid contention, but states that copies of the sealing and demolition orders will be served upon learned counsel on record for the petitioner within the course of the day.

To enable the petitioners to take recourse available in law against the said orders, he states that no action will be taken pursuant to the vacation notice for a period of two weeks from today. 5.
The petitioner may assail the said orders, is so advised, within the aforesaid period.

The petition is disposed of in terms of the above directions.
