This writ petition has been preferred seeking the following reliefs:- "a) allow the present Writ Petition and direct the Respondent/Land Acquisition Collector to forward the reference petitions under section 18 of the LA Act filed by the petitioner on 04.09.2015 to the concerned court of Ld. ADJ at the earliest for adjudication, in the interest of justice.
b) Such other appropriate Writ, order or directions as this Hon'ble Court, in the facts and circumstances of the case, may deem fit and proper be issued in favour of the petitioner." 2.
The grievance which is voiced is of a purported failure on the part of the respondents to transmit an application dated 04 September 2015 purporting to be under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 ["Act"].

In view of the aforesaid and in light of the limited grievance which is addressed, we dispose of this writ petition with the following directions.

Subject to due verification of all facts and contentions on merits being kept open, the respondents may examine the relevant record and the application preferred under Section 18 of the Act may be processed and transmitted further in accordance with law.
