A Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner, wherein a prayer is made that Respondent No.1 be directed to submit the Status Report of action taken till date and to conduct fresh investigations, if required, to take action against Respondent No.2.

Learned counsel on behalf of the State has explained that on the Complaint of Respondent No.2 who is Constable in Delhi Police, FIR No.42/2011 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC was registered. The learned M.M vide Order dated 03.06.2021 acquitted the Petitioners but directed that an FIR be registered against Respondent No.2. Accordingly, FIR No.247/2021 under Section 193/468/471 IPC was registered against the Woman Const. Krishna which is pending investigations. However, the Order of the learned MM was successfully challenged before the Court of learned ASJ who set aside the directions for registration of FIR vide The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. It is further submitted that a Departmental Enquiry was initiated against the Woman Constable Krishna, but the same has been closed in view of the Order of the learned ASJ.

The detailed Status Report has been filed, which is taken on record. 5.
There were other reliefs sought in the Writ Petition, but the relief was confined to Prayer No.(a).

In view of the circumstances, no further relief is merited in the present petition which is hereby disposed of.
