This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR no. 480/2024 registered at PS Khyala, Delhi under Sections 309(4)/311/3(5) BNS 25/27 Arms Act 2.

Respondent no. 2 (complainant) is present in Court and duly identified by IO. He states that there was scuffle between friends and the matter was relating to Rs. 1,000/- which they tried to take from him. He has resolved the issue with the petitioners and does not want to proceed ahead with the matter.

Considering that it was inter se disputes which escalated resulting the involvement of police and registration of the FIR, the FIR is quashed on the basis of statement of the respondent no.2. The FIR was recently registered on 03rd August, 2024. The petitioners are in judicial custody. 5.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 480/2024 under Sections 309(4)/311/3(5) BNS 25/27 Arms Act registered at PS Khyala, Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 6.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
