The petitioner/husband is seeking initiation of the contempt proceedings against the respondent/wife for willful disobedience of the directions of the learned Family Court, North District dated 15.12.2021, whereby the petitioner was afforded visitation and meeting rights with the minor child on 3rd Saturday of every month in the children room of the court from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. starting from January 2022.

The present petition has been filed almost after three years. 5.

No one is present for the non-applicant/wife despite sending advance notice.

learned Family Court may de novo conduct an exercise, so as to have an interaction with the child, if deemed fit, and thereby provide and decide affording, withdrawing or restricting meeting rights to the petitioner in accordance with the law.

Learned counsel for the petitioner requests permission to withdraw the present petition with the liberty to move a fresh application before the learned Family Judge, North District for appropriate relief.
