The present petition is filed praying for security to the petitioners for the protection of their life and liberty. 4.
The learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners got married on 20.09.2024 and have been living as husband and wife. He submits that the marriage took place without the consent of the family of the Petitioner No. 2, due to which petitioners have been receiving constant threats from the family members. He submits that the complaint in that regard was given to the concerned Police Station but no action has been taken.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that no such complaint was ever received and, if any, such complaint is received in future, appropriate action would be taken without any delay.

She submits that as an abundant caution, phone number of the Beat Officer would be provided to the learned counsel for the petitioners and the petitioners would be at liberty to call the Officer as and when petitioners apprehend any threat to life and liberty.

In view of the above, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.

The petitioners are at liberty to file an appropriate petition in case any grievance remains in future.
