This is an application on behalf of the Judgment Debtor for release of a sum of Rs.2 crore along with accrued interest thereon which are lying in the fixed deposit with the Registry of this Court in terms of the Judgment dated 20.08.2024. This Court in the operative portion of the said judgment has observed as under:- "60.

xxx d) On the execution of the documents, referred to hereinabove, either by the JD or by an Officer appointed on an application moved by the DH, the amount of Rs.2 crores alongwith interest accrued thereon, lying deposited with this Court, shall be released to the JD."

It is stated that the documents have been executed and therefore there is no impediment for the release of the said amount deposited in the suit along with accrued interest in favour of the Judgment Debtor. 3.

In view of the above, let the amount of Rs. 2 crore deposited in the suit along with accrued interest lying with the Registry of this Court be released in favour of the Judgement Debtor.
