The petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking action against alleged illegal unauthorised construction at property bearing No. WZ-86/A, 86/B, and 86/C, Dayalsar Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi 110059 ["the Subject Property"]. 2.
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi ["MCD"] has filed a status report dated 24.09.2024 in which it is stated that a vacation notice has been issued in respect of the Subject Property, on 03.04.2024. Demolition action was also scheduled on 28.08.2024 but could not take place as the Subject Property was occupied on 28.08.2024, 03.09.2024 and 18.09.2024.

A fresh vacation notice has been issued on 18.09.2024 and necessary assistance of the police authorities has also been sought. Learned counsel states that action will be taken as expeditiously as possible, the next demolition action being scheduled on 27.09.2024. The police authorities are also directed to provide said assistance as required. 4.
In view of the aforesaid status report, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.

The petition stands disposed of with above directions, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of any owners/occupants of the subject property, whose statutory remedies are reserved.
