This application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner in a disposed of writ petition, seeking enforcement of the demolition order passed on behalf of respondent-MCD.

The petition was disposed of vide order dated 18th December, 2025, directing respondent-MCD to take action against the unauthorized construction after following due procedure of law. 3.
It is the case of the petitioner that the private respondents no. 4 and 5 had encroached upon the public land and had raised construction therein. 4.
He submits that despite the aforesaid order, no action has been taken by respondent-MCD and additional floors upto 5th Floor have been added. Notice is accepted by counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 1/MCD.

Let reply(ies) be filed within four (4) weeks. 10.
This Court takes a serious view of the matter that despite clear directions passed by this Court, respondent-MCD has not taken requisite action in accordance with law.
10.1 MCD shall file a status report in this regard within four (4) weeks from today.

This application has been filed by the petitioner seeking impleadment of Archaeological Survey of India ('ASI') as a respondent in the present writ petition.
