O R D E R

By the present petition, the petitioner seeks the following prayers :

i.

Pass and order/direction to Respondent Authorities to provide adequate security arrangement to the Petitioner for installing entry gate in his property to prevent mob violence, damage, unauthorized access and illegal activity on the property bearing Kh. No. 852/226/1 Village Sindhora Kalan, Sarai Rohilla, Delhi ii.

Pass an Order/Direction to respondent authorities to take corrective measures to prevent Mob violence, damage/destruction of property and unlawful activity i.e. consumption of liquor, psychotropic substance, gambling and forceful parking in the property of the petitioner bearing Kh. No. 852/226/1, Village Sindhora Kalan, Sarai Rohilla, Delhi iii.

Pass an Order/Direction to Respondent No. 3 / SHO PS The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Sarai Rohilla to circulate/intimate the property verification report dated 22.08.2024 (ANNEXURE P-1) received by him upon his request to SDM Civil Lines, Delhi amongst local residents to prevent further unlawful assembly and mob violence at the property of the Petitioner for sake of effective maintenance of law and order.

Pass any such directions or order which this Hon'ble court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the above-mentioned case.

The petitioner claims to be in possession of property bearing Kh. No. 852/226/1, Village Sindhora Kalan, Sarai Rohilla, Delhi. It is the case of the petitioner that some local residents are trying to trespass onto the property for unlawful activities, such as, consumption of liquor and psychotropic substances, gambling and forceful parking. The petitioner also apprehends threat to his life and liberty.

At the outset, the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the complaint was indeed received by the Police and an enquiry has been initiated.

She submits that prompt and strict action will be taken on a complaint given by the petitioner after conducting a preliminary enquiry. She submits that the same will be conducted without any delay.

She further submits that the phone number of the concerned Beat Officer will also be provided to the petitioner and the petitioner is at liberty to call the Beat Officer as and when he apprehends any threat to his life, liberty or property. She submits that on receiving any such call, prompt action will be taken. 6.

She further submits that the other grievances and request of the petitioner will also be looked into and action will be taken in accordance with law.

In view of the above, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.

Needless to say, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Court in case any grievance remains in future. 9.

The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Pending applications also stand disposed of.
