O R D E R
% 19.11.2019 This appeal is against the judgment and decree dated 21.09.2005 passed by the learned Additional District Judge, Delhi in CS No.415/2003 whereby it dismissed the suit for recovery of Rs.20,00,000/- on account of damages filed by the appellant against the respondent herein.
During the course of arguments learned counsel for the respondent says as a gesture of goodwill the respondent offers an amount of Rs.30,000/- to the appellant, which the appellant has readily agreed and would not make any claim for damages and shall not pursue the litigation any longer.
In the circumstances, an amount of Rs.30,000/- shall be paid by the respondent within four weeks from today to the appellant by way of a demand draft. The appellant agrees to maintain the
confidentiality qua this goodwill gesture of the respondent and shall not share the same before any public forum. Ordered accordingly. The appeal stands disposed of in terms of the above. No order as to costs.
