During the course of arguments, and without prejudice to the respective rights and contentions, and considering all the aspects of merits on facts and law, it is proposed that disputes can be settled on the appellants receiving a sum of Rs.12 lacs in full and final settlement of all their claims. The amount of Rs.12 lacs will be paid by the respondents/plaintiffs to the appellants/counter claimants within three months of the passing of the final order by this Court.

Counsels for the parties state that they will accordingly put this proposal to their clients for favourable consideration so that disputes are brought to an amicable end.
